When you choose aveda, you're choosing eco consciousness in action. The quality of our services and products set aveda apart but it's our commitment to the environment that means the most to us. We're dedicated to doing everything we can to be earth-friendly in our products, locations and services. Our products use all-natural ingredients, organically grown whenever possible. Our ingredients are sources from sustainable resources, so we don't deplete the environments we harvest from. No animal testing. Enough said. Our salons follow stringent recycling policies aveda products are packaged in recyclable containers, so most of what we use never sees the landfill. Our products and in-store environment use recycled materials whenever possible. Products are packaged in 80-100% post-consumer materials. We've even got custom countertops made from recycled aveda product packaging. We feel it's our responsibility to give back to society and the environment. Each of our locations holds its own events and programs for charitable causes. We believe beauty schools have a responsibility beyond hair, nails and skin. We have the power to make the earth more beautiful. Aveda is leading the way to implement sustainable, environmentally conscious policies in our salons and institutions and we hope that soon, cosmetology businesses everywhere will follow
